The process of casting has been around for at least 6,000 years, and while ancient techniques differ greatly from modern ones, the basics are the same. Bars created via this method are also referred to as "molded" or even "poured". No two poured bars are the same because the pouring process often creates abnormalities and blemishes that are unique to those bars. Because this process is so quick and cheap for the manufacturer, they are able to pass those savings onto the customer, which is why these bars are often available for close to spot price.
Stored of Value
Gold is a physical asset that retains its purchasing power over a very long period of time as compared to paper/fiat currencies which continuously loses its purchasing power.
Singapore is simply the best place to buy and store bullion. Where EU and USA government trying to curb investments into precious metals by means of imposing new legislation making it even harder to purchase precious metals. Singapore is one of the top few lowest corruption, crime rates and has no tax on bullion and many people across the region buy, sell and store their precious metal here.
Physical gold is something you can hold and touch it in your hand, it ain't a concept or representation of value like currencies or stocks.
Historically gold is an excellent hedge against high inflation when the stock market falls. Gold prices tend to rise when the cost of living increases.
The demand for gold has grown among both industrial and investors. Every year there is an increased demand for gold for jewellery as well as the technology industries around the world. India and china have increasingly large demands for gold especially in retail and as a traditional form of saving.
Gold is seen as a long-term safe haven asset to preserve and pass on wealth from one generation to the next. It is viewed as a low-risk asset for wealth accumulation for now and the future.
Historically gold has a negative correlation to shares and other types of financial instruments. This allows individual to diversify their portfolio and reduce the overall risk.

Digital Bullion makes sure only authenticated gold is stored and provided to gold purchasers. In doing so, all physical gold goes through the below stringent test:
Different metal has different density/mass and it is hard to replicate. Therefore a density test will help identify most precious metal.
Density test alone will not be able to 100% identify certain composite in a replicated metal. However, metals with similar density do not have similar ultrasonic properties. An ultrasonic test measures the thickness of metal by identifying the time it takes for an ultrasonic sound wave to travel through the metal. The speed of the sound wave travelling through gold takes 3240 metres per second.
X-ray testing helps detect surface composite of metal by emitting a broad spectrum of x-rays on the metal. This test is used to detect surface gold plated metals.
